Long distance moving - loading the trailer

Many customers do not understand the logistics of long distance move. Most companies (even the ones that don't admit it) will transfer the load from a small straight truck , also called shuttle trucks, into the 53 ft tractor trailer. On some instances , the customer would like a dedicated delivery , in those cases we don't move the shipment. However, sending the items on exclusive trucks usually add 50%-60% to the cost. In return however, it will shorten the delivery time frame since the driver would have to make only one stop!

In some cases a company would ship a straight truck since they do not have enough loads to fill the 53 ft trailer. The jobs are separated by different color inventory labels, straps and metal beams.
